Course summary

This course will focus on exploring and developing sector and role specific knowledge to support your career growth and future aspirations. It aims to enable you to gain a critical awareness of the latest issues and best practices in the use of artificial intelligence in business management. You will have the opportunity to understand how artificial intelligence may improve how businesses function, and how to use AI technology to enhance business decision making, create revenue streams and generate new business opportunities.

Assessment method

Mixed assessment modes offer students a range of opportunities to demonstrate their achievement of learning outcomes. You will be assessed through a combination of coursework assessments, business plans and activities, all completed online. As part of the degree, you will initiate and lead a change project within a practice setting. In order to achieve this successfully, you will be required to apply the knowledge and demonstrate the strategic thought and leadership capabilities which are core to the course. On successful completion of the Certificate stage (60 credits) students will be eligible for a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration. On successful completion of the Diploma stage (120 credits) students will be eligible for a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration. On successful completion of the Masters stage (180 credits) students will be eligible for a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). Masters level awards will be made with a ‘Distinction’, ‘Merit’ or ‘Pass’ grade.

How to apply

International applicants

English as a Foreign Language Participants whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in verbal and written English language equivalent to IELTS 6.5 overall with no component less than 5.5, or TOEFL 600. If you have IELTS 6.0 you may be eligible to study our online pre-sessional English course.

Entry requirements

An honours degree in any discipline, obtained from a recognised university/HE institution, or an equivalent qualification in a business related area. Applicants will also need to have a minimum of two years post-degree full-time work experience in a management/administrative/ professional capacity.
