Modules

Modules cover key topics in nutritional sciences. You'll study nutrition and metabolism, to understand the role of nutrition in a variety of physiological and pathological situations. You'll study molecular nutrition to understand how nutrients impact on cellular processes. You'll study public health nutrition to understand the relationship between diet, health and disease. If you are studying for the masters programme, you'll learn research skills in preparation for your project. You will carry out a research project supervised by a specialist. This will involve the application of investigative, critical and analytical skills, and the presentation of a report. There is a poster presentation at an annual postgraduate research symposium.
