Geography is uniquely positioned between the physical and social sciences enabling geographers to provide broad-ranging perspectives on a range of key societal challenges. It explores the spatial interactions between human behaviours and society and the interrelationships between the environment and political, economic and social forces. The flexibility of our programme enables you to explore the full breadth and depth of this dynamic discipline. Depending on where your interests lie, you can focus on physical geography, human geography or a mixture of both. Our focus on climate change, global responsibility, sustainability, and the application of professional geographical skills to real-world situations will prepare you for a wide range of careers and for life as a responsible global citizen. Our unique 600-acre rural campus is a fantastic natural environment to carry out fieldwork. You can test new ideas, discover solutions to problems and bring your learning to life.
