Course overview: This FdA in hospitality and tourism management gives you an academic qualification and experience in a vocational and academic environment. You take part in seminars and lectures to build your theoretical knowledge, while also completing practical sessions, masterclasses and study trips to industry standard facilities. Core and optional modules allow you to develop your knowledge and are designed to give you a progressive understanding of hospitality and tourism management. This course is multidisciplinary and incorporates theory and practical sessions and is influenced by business and management which allows the variety of learning opportunities and experiences the course offers. After the course On successful completion of the course, you are going to be appropriately placed and equipped with the necessary academic tools, professional skills and knowledge as well as personal and transferrable skills to compete for junior management positions within the industry.
