We are unique in that our work on tourism and events is focused on the planning and management of spaces and places, rather than more business-oriented perspectives. Staff are interested in in city tourism, airport management, festivals, designing experiences, community-based tourism, tourism in SE Asia and sustainable tourism. We would welcome applications from PhD candidates who share our interest in these themes.
