Course summary

Our course focuses on teaching the advanced topics of eHealth including:

  • Connected Health
  • Digital Health
  • Tele-Health
  • m-Health
You will develop your practical skills through a comprehensive understanding of fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience of Digital Health technologies within industry and academia. Modules will focus on planning, analysing, developing, evaluating, deploying, and managing Digital Health systems/services for modern day organisations/businesses. All modules are designed to respect the overarching themes of Digital Health, delivering research informed teaching in lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions; other modules will focus on academic, research and ethical practices within a professional environment. In the course, unique and challenging modules are introduced, for example: Introduction to Digital Health; Mobile networks and smartphone applications; Data mining and visualisation.


Entry requirements

You require a Bachelor Honours Degree (2.2 or above) in Computing/ Engineering (or Relevant Disciplines) from a UK academic institute or an equivalent 4-year international degree qualification. You may also be considered with other academic, vocational or professional qualifications deemed to be equivalent.
