Course Overview Our MSc Midwifery for Registered Nurses is an intensive programme designed to develop your abilities as a professional midwife. We’ll enable you to gain the skills needed to ensure that women, birthing people and families get to enjoy a positive and healthy pregnancy and birth experience. Why study with us

- We are the first university in the UK to be awarded the prestigious UNICEF Baby Friendly Gold Award for our midwifery and health visiting degree programmes, which means they meet the sustainability standards
- You’ll be learning from leading experts. Our midwifery education team is supported by internationally renowned researchers in midwifery and infant nutrition.
- You’ll go on clinical placements in NHS Trusts throughout the region, gaining hands-on experience in a range of settings on the frontline of the midwifery profession.
- We have dedicated staff who provide a link between the University and our clinical placement sites. These lectures are available whenever you need advice and support.
