Year One – Level 4 In your first year, you will build a foundation in business management through core modules such as marketing, finance, and organisational behaviour. The focus is on developing an understanding of how businesses operate within the global environment, with an emphasis on key business and management disciplines. Learning in the Digital Era (20 credits) Entrepreneurial Innovation (20 credits) Finance for Business (20 credits) Marketing Fundamentals (20 credits) People and Organisations (20 credits) Year Two – Level 5 The second year expands on your knowledge, focusing on applying management theories and frameworks to real-world situations. You will have opportunities for work-based learning through live projects and consultancy engagements, and you may also explore an international focus through the International Mobility Opportunity module. Compulsory Changemakers: Creativity and Value Creation (20 credits) Changemakers: Building your Personal Brand for Sustainable Employment (20 credits) Marketing In Practice (20 credits) Financial Performance Management (20 credits) Contract Law (20 credits) Optional International Mobility Opportunity (60 Credits) Year Three – Level 6 (BA) In the final year, the course will deepen your understanding of global business strategies and ethical considerations. Assessment method

Assessment methods vary from module to module but you can expect a range of assessments including, coursework, practical work and exams. Assessments combine academic rigor with authentic “real-world” tasks that demonstrate a students ability to meaningfully apply their knowledge and skills.

If you are not from the UK and you do not already have residency here, you may need to apply for a visa.   For courses of more than six months’ duration you will require a Student visa.   International students who require a Student visa should apply for our full-time courses as these qualify for Student visa sponsorship.    For full information read our visa application and guides.     Please note students receiving US Federal Aid are only able to apply for in-person, on-campus programmes which will have no elements of online study.

If English is not your first language or you have not previously studied in English, our usual requirement is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 6.0, with not less than 5.5 in each of the sub-tests. We also accept other English language tests.

Additional fee information

Extra costs to be borne by the student As an institution, we seek to continually enhance the student experience and as a result, additional costs may be incurred by the student on activities that will add value to their education. Where possible these costs will be kept to a minimum with additional activities being optional. Field trips and placement costs Field trips will be available for students, which are optional. Costs for UK and International trips will be provided at the beginning of the academic year. Students undertaking placements abroad will incur travel, living and possibly accommodation costs. The amount will depend upon location and current state of the UK pound. For students undertaking placements in the USA, additional visa costs will apply. Students will be expected to pay four weeks prior to field trips taking place. Travel and visa costs for overseas placements, three months before departure.
