This is a four-year programme that includes a year of foundational study and leads directly into the degree course. Our foundation year offers the chance to strengthen your skills, knowledge and confidence, before you advance to stage one of your honours degree. If you study on the four-year (sandwich) course, you'll spend a year away from the University on a work placement after year two. Modules have been developed to futureproof you, preparing you for rapid developments within your future careers that will inevitably come with the AI age. You’ll leave us as an insightful professional ready to effect change or work within the criminal justice system and beyond. We offer this programme with two study options. You can choose four years full-time or five years full-time which would include a one-year professional placement before your final year that will give you hands-on experience in a real-life working environment. This sandwich year would give you practical skills that many employers seek, giving you a competitive edge upon graduation.
