Course Overview This course is a recognised qualification designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed for success in a variety of roles in the construction sector. This course also provides you with an in-depth understanding of design principles and application for construction and the built environment. Additionally you will learn about environmental issues relevant to planning, coordination and management of each design and construction phase, factors affecting the selection of materials, systems and equipment, environmental impact of energy and other constraints on the planning. You will also learn the roles, responsibilities and obligations (including liability for health, safety and welfare) of all parties involved in construction projects, cost implications and how technology affects the design of construction projects.
