Course summary

This programme focuses on numerical methods and the physics and computation modelling of turbulence. It will enhance your knowledge of flow physics and your ability to use state-of-the-art computational tools to improve industrial designs. Ideally suited for engineering, mathematics and science graduates with a strong background in fluid dynamics or aerodynamics, our this programme will prepare you for further research or a career in industrial research and development.

How to apply

International applicants

English language: Band C, IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in all components.

This course has a subject classification which requires students whose nationality is outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland to have an ATAS certificate, irrespective of country of residence at the point of application.

Entry requirements

A UK bachelor’s degree with upper second-class honours or higher in engineering, mathematics, physical sciences or a related subject. Module requirements also apply, please see website.
