Course summary

Join our lively programme and focus on the craft of fiction, script writing, poetry and writing for children through weekly writing workshops and literature seminars that engage in a close study of contemporary writing. Collaborate with other art forms through our campus theatre and concert hall, as well as the prestigious Winchester School of Art and the research taking place in the English department and beyond. Visiting writers and editors will deepen your understanding of the publishing world. The programme culminates in a creative writing dissertation developed in consultation with a published writer.
