The BA (Hons) Education Degree provides important multidisciplinary tools for studying education. It selectively draws from fields such as history, philosophy, psychology, sociology, linguistics, and economics and aims to promote critical understandings of curriculum, assessment, pedagogical design and other perennial issues related to education including relevancy, inclusion, access and equity. In recognizing an increasingly diverse and fast-changing world, the programme also focuses on the impact and promise of multi-modal and especially digitally-influenced ways of communicating and meaning-making.
