On this MBA programme, you’ll study alongside people from a range of industries and sectors, which enables you to share ideas and experiences You’ll gain knowledge, skills and expertise across marketing, strategy, leadership, people, finance, operations and business research. You can also develop specialist knowledge in areas such as sustainability, internationalisation, disruptive technology, EDI and crisis response. Applied learning We think the best way to learn something is to do it in the real world. That means putting learning into practice on placements, internships and real-world consultancy projects – arranged through our global network of leading businesses. Placements You’ll have the opportunity to arrange a year-long work placement before you commence your final investigation moduleand third years. This gives you valuable work experience to prepare you for your future career – as well as an opportunity to complete your Applied Business Investigation based on an organisation you have worked with. Live Projects We bring the 'real' business world into your learning experience through the use of live case studies. Together, we’ll analyse organisations, explore the challenges they face and discover what makes them successful. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with leading businesses on client-sponsored projects that are aligned to your professional interests and ambitions. Networking Opportunities During the course you’ll be able to develop shared learning, business contacts and networking opportunities through your workplace experiences, peers, teaching staff and industry experts. Entry requirements

You need a 2.2 honours degree or equivalent. English Language qualifications: If English is not your first language you will need an IELTS score of 6.5 overall and a minimum of 6.0 in all skills, or a recognised equivalent. If your English language skill is currently below this level, we recommend you complete a Sheffield Hallam University Pre-sessional English course which will enable you to achieve the required English level. We assess applications on merit and we can advise you about this process before you apply. If you are unsure whether you meet these requirements then we recommend that you contact us for guidance. If you do not have such academic qualifications we may consider your application individually, based on your personal, professional and work experience, and other formal qualifications. You may also be able to claim credit points which can reduce the amount of time it takes to complete your qualification at Sheffield Hallam.
