Course summary
This course will prepare you for a career in international management. We will help you define your managerial style and transform you into a strategic thinker, preparing you for work in an uncertain global environment. You will expand your knowledge of management theories and will be able to specialise in your chosen sector. You will work on a consultancy project, which will give you the confidence to apply what you learn to your business career.
Modules
Core modules: Consultancy project; accounting and finance for decision making; strategic management; self-effectiveness and leadership performance; organising and managing for performance; contemporary marketing. Option modules may include: Green supply management; international environment of business; international marketing (emerging markets); investment fund management; leadership and management development; managing marketing; strategic brand management; media strategy and planning; forensic accounting; strategic management of international enterprises; entrepreneurship; corporate finance; consumer behaviour and research; business process and operations management; financial decision analysis.
Entry requirements
Applicants should have at least a 2nd Class Honours degree. All applications should be supported by a reference, either academic or professional. Applicnts whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent.
