Our Computer Science (Cyber Security) BSc will enable you to gain a sound academic grounding in the discipline of Computer Science, an understanding of the professional issues relevant to your future working life and specialist knowledge in cyber security - informed by our own research and industry trends. Your final year will culminate with the opportunity to deep dive into research focused modules (including a final year research project) relating to the specialist area of cyber security. You will learn how to identify the major types of cybercrime and implement counter-measures to protect against them and explore the laws relating to the major forms of cybercrime and cyber security. The knowledge and skills acquired from this programme will enable you to protect information systems from unauthorised access, harm or misuse.
