Course summary

These qualifications are designed for senior managers who have the responsibility to translate organisational strategy into effective performance, this qualification requires the manager to focus on the requirements of implementing the organisation’s strategy. This will give you key skills and competencies to become an effective strategic manager. To achieve the Level 7 Extended Diploma in strategic management and leadership you must complete all 9 of the following units. Unit 7001 Personal development as a strategic manager Unit 7002 Developing performance management strategies Unit 7003 Financial management Unit 7004 Strategic information management Unit 7005 Conducting a strategic management project Unit 7006 Reviewing organisational strategy plans and performance Unit 7008 Developing a marketing strategy Unit 7010 implementing organisational change strategies Unit 7013 Strategic leadership practice

Assessment method

Methods of assessment will include assignments, case studies, presentations, group work and a work based project.


Entry requirements

The Level 5 extended diploma in Management and Leadership. Alternatively, learners admitted to the programme must prove sufficient capability at the right level to undertake the learning and assessment.
