This is a 2 year course, studied at 1 day per week. This Level 4 course is a nationally recognised and highly respected qualification, accepted by employers, universities and professional engineering institutions. The course is aimed at working engineers and is ideal for anyone who is interested in developing a multi-disciplined career in electrical/electronic engineering. The College has close links with the Engineering Sector regionally and uses support from the industry to maintain currency of the curriculum offer. The College also has an excellent range of specialist laboratories, workshops and equipment providing access to resources that support learning. All engineering courses at Cambridge Regional College focus on the practical applications of theory and include safe working practices, communication, team working and research skills. This is classed as a part-time course – on successful completion of this course, you will gain a BTEC Level 4 HNC Diploma. You can achieve a BTEC Level 5 HND Diploma by studying a further 2 years on successful completion of the BTEC Level 4 HNC Diploma. Home & EU students are eligible to apply for a part-time loan from Student Finance England.
