Course summary

Our finance and investment banking degree includes mentoring and internships in the City of London. It is also recognised by the CFA Institute – a gold standard for investment professionals. This degree in finance and investment banking is designed to develop your financial knowledge and help you get ahead in today's investing world. Modules include corporate finance, investment management, trading, FinTech, quantitative analysis and accounting, so you'll gain the practical skills and understanding you need to deal with finance and investment related issues. The course has been accepted into the CFA Institute University Recognition Programme. We have strong links with the City and businesses in Canary Wharf, offering our students great networking, mentoring and internship opportunities in finance and investment banking. Previous finance and investment banking graduates have secured work placements at Barclays, Northern Trust, State Street and Goldman Sachs. The Robert Holman Bursary awards 2x £1,000 bursaries to students entering their second and third years of study (visit our website to find out more about this bursary). The programme is affiliated with Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA) under the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program, and it equips you with the theoretical and practical toolset to take Level 1 of the CFA qualification after you graduate. The programme is also affiliated with CFA Certificate of ESG Investing. The programme is also accredited with ACCA, CIMA and AIA professional body which offer exemptions including up to 5 ACCA papers, and up to CIMA Operational Level. Qualification requirements

We make Contextual offers to this programme. Applicants that meet specific eligibility criteria will be made a contextual offer with a reduced tariff of up to 16 UCAS Tariff points. Other entry requirements such as GCSEs, Interview, etc., will still need to be met. For further information, please see our Contextual Admissions policy. We also accept applications if you wish to transfer from another institution, and have already studied 1 or 2 years of a relevant course at level 4 or 5 and wish to continue your education at the University of Greenwich.
