Modules

Structure: Module 1: Organising for Social Change Module 2: Leading Social Innovation Module 3: Social Innovation in Practice: The Social Innovation Project Module 4: Social Innovation Research Module 5: Social Innovation dissertation

Assessment method

Modules 1 and 2 will be assessed by essays (5,000 words), module 3 will be assessed by a business plan or critical case study (5,000 words) and module 4 by a research proposal (4,000 words). Each of these assignments (1-4) contributes 12.5 per cent to the final mark. Your mark for the 15,000-word dissertation contributes 50 per cent to the final mark.

Entry requirements

At least a good 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent standard from an overseas institution as on the University of Cambridge website https://www.graduate.study.cam.ac.uk/international/international-qualifications. Applicants should have at least two years' work experience (excluding vacation employment and internships during the course of their undergraduate degree). Applicants whose 1st language is not English should have: IELTS 7.5, with not less than 7.0 in each element; TOEFL 110, with not less than 25 in each element; CAE grade A or B (with at least 293 in each individual element) plus a language centre assessment; CPE grade A, B or C (with at least 200 in each individual element).
