Course summary
The MSci in Applied Bioveterinary Research is an undergraduate integrated master's degree with an industrial placement, the aim of which is to prepare you for a PhD or a career in an industrial or a career in research, where you will strive to explore the development of new therapies for both human and veterinary diseases. In addition to the the four-year MSci course, you will undertake a placement year, usually in your third year, to develop work place skills and industry expertise. This programme has received Advanced Accreditation from the Royal Society of Biology following an independent and rigorous assessment. Accredited degree programmes contain a solid academic foundation in biological knowledge and key skills, and prepare graduates to address the needs of employers.
