Mont Rose College of Management and Sciences in London offers this course with the approval of BTEC Edexcel. The Pearson BTEC level-5 Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management provides a specialist work – related programme of study that covers key knowledge, understanding and practical skills required in the hospitality industry and also offers particular specialist emphasis through the choice of specialist units

The Award is made up of 16 units: Mandatory core units are Contemporary Hospitality Industry, Finance in Hospitality Industry, Customer Services, Food and Beverage Operations Management, Room Division Operations Management and The Developing Manager. The Specialist Units are Conference and Banqueting Management,, Hospitality Contract and Event Management, Sales Development and Merchandising, Quality Management in Business, External Business Environment, Law for Licensed Premises, Menu Planning and Product Development, Planning Managing Food Production and Beverage Service, Food Safety Management and Research Report.

A BTEC Level 3 qualification in Business A GCE Advanced Level profile that demonstrates strong performance in a relevant subject or adequate performance in more than one GCE subject. This profile is likely to be supported by GCSE grades at A* to C (or equivalent) Other related Level 3 qualifications An Access to Higher Education Certificate awarded by an approved further education institution An international equivalent of the above. Related work experience (two years or more of relevant full-time work experience). Mature applicants may present a more varied profile of achievement that is likely to include extensive work experience (paid and / or unpaid) and / or achievement of a range of professional qualifications in their work sector.
