It will also give you an idea of the range of roles in which you could pursue a career. *As we are in unprecedented and unpredictable times, there is no guarantee that you will be successful in securing a placement in the UK in the future. If you choose a course with placement/internship route we would like to advise you that if a placement/internship opportunity does not arise when you are expected to undertake the placement then the University will automatically transfer you to the non-internship route. This is to ensure you are still successful in being awarded a degree. The internship route for this course is open to UK students only .


Entry requirements

A degree (at least 2.1) in a computing subject or an engineering degree with a significant level of computing. Applicants with equivalent professional qualifications, or a relevant Higher National Diploma (HND) will be considered, provided they can demonstrate significant, relevant work experience and the ability to benefit fully from the course. Such applicants will be considered on an individual basis by interview. Some optional modules may not be available to students without a 1st degree in computing. International students need to meet our English language requirement at either IELTS at 6.5 or above, and a minimum of 5.5 for each of the 4 individual components. Pearson PTE Academic at score 58 or above, or an equivalent secure English language test. In some countries where teaching is in English, we may accept local qualifications.
