Course summary
The BSc (Hons) Community and Public Service Management (Healthcare) top up is aimed at students who have completed the FdSc Health & Social Care. The BSc (Hons) Community and Public Service Management (Healthcare) will enable students to develop their critical knowledge and understandings of contemporary theory and practice regarding public healthcare policy, the historical backdrop to the development of public service provision, the policy and institutional environment within which these services are framed and contemporary issues and problems in community and public service management.
Modules
The course includes the following subjects: community and public services delivery and evaluation, ethical decision making, understanding addictive and compulsive behaviour, management and leadership for change, understanding mental health and mental illness, community and healthcare research project.
Assessment method
Assessment is 100% coursework which will include: essays, reports, web pages, information booklets, presentations, discussion and briefings.
