It is designed to give you the opportunity to evidence the skills and competencies you display in your work. It is closely aligned with Nursing and Medical Council requirements. Year One – Level 4 (Cert HE) • Anatomy, Physiology and the Biopsychosocial Model of Health (20 credits; compulsory) • Communication and Integrated Working (20 credits; compulsory) • Fundamentals of Care (40 credits; compulsory) • Introduction to Research and Evidence-based Practice (20 credits; compulsory) • Personal and Professional Development for Nurses (20 credits; compulsory).
Assessments include; essays, reports, presentations, and professional portfolios. You will be asked to evidence your competencies and ability to meet skills requirements in the role you undertake as part of this course. You will be supported to utilise information technology communication and organisational skills for your assignments.
