The BSc (Hons) Building Control provides students with a rigorous understanding of the principles and practice involved in building control up to Bachelor’s degree standard. This programme is delivered by supported online learning and is therefore very flexible as it can be studied in any location at any time. The programme provides the academic underpinning necessary to prepare students for a career as a Building Control Surveyor. Accreditation by RICS, CIOB and other professional bodies is currently being sought. This programme is primarily designed for people with an interest in building technology, building standards, fire safety, inclusive environments and energy conservation, who wish to further their career with a degree.
