Whether you’re aiming to become a sport psychologist, work in health and fitness, or support mental wellbeing through exercise, this sports psychology degree will give you the practical skills and scientific understanding to thrive. Our course is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), ensuring quality standards. Accreditation from the British Psychological Society gives qualifying graduates the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC), which is the first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist. It allows graduates to pursue postgraduate vocational training in areas such as clinical, educational and health psychology. Location This course is run at our Canterbury Campus in Kent. Canterbury is just 50 miles south-east of London and less than an hour by high-speed train from St Pancras. Located on a UNESCO World Heritage Site the campus offers state-of-the-art buildings, right in the centre of a vibrant and world-famous cathedral city. You’ll benefit from a campus with excellent learning and teaching resources, music venues, a superb sports centre, a well-stocked bookshop and plenty of coffee bars and places to eat. A short walk away is Augustine House our award-winning library and home to a vast range of learning resources and student support teams.

Home (UK) Fees: Home (UK) tuition fees for Foundation Years at Canterbury Christ Church University will be set in line with the maximum tuition fee cap for foundation years in classroom-based subjects or non-classroom-based subjects, as set by the UK Government. Home (UK) tuition fees for subsequent years 1-3 are currently set in line with the maximum tuition fee cap for standard undergraduate degrees set by the UK Government, currently £9,535. However, this is subject to any changes to the maximum tuition fee cap, or any other changes to regulated undergraduate tuition fees, that might be subsequently approved by Parliament for the 2026/27 academic year onwards. International Tuition Fees (including EU fees): Undergraduate tuition fees for International students are not subject to the Government’s regulations on maximum tuition fees.
