The Graphic and Digital Design HND Level 5 is designed with the help of industry experts, to balance creaticity and technical ability with essential knowledge and employability skills making it ideal for creative individuals with entrepreneurial, employment, or academic aspirations. You will graduate with the confidence to deliver high quality outcomes, lead projects, manage teams, and respond to changes in dynamic creative environments. This course provides a deep understanding of traditional and new technologies in areas of graphic and digital design. You will complete a mix of practical, real-world projects and portfolios that embed relevant theory into practice and mirror industry challenges. The Graphic and Digital Design HND Level 5 is a two year course, where during your first year you will study a Level 4 HNC. Upon successful completion of the first year, you will then progress on to the second year to study the Level 5 HND. Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) - MMP
In order to study the Graphic and Digital Design HND Level 5, you will need to have successfully completed: An MMP at Level 3 in a related subject, or Access to Higher Education qualification, or an A Level equivalent (minimum 80 new UCAS points) in related subjects. GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 (C) or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 and/or minimum IELTS score of 6. Relevant work experience may be considered if you do not meet the above criteria.
