1. The BSc (Hons) provides a focused education for specific destinations in the computing and IT industry. 2. Students on this programme will have the opportunity to develop their computing specialist’s skills in areas such as systems analysis and design, programming, web development, database design, and mobile application development. 3. Students can develop their higher education skills by engaging in academic research. 4. As well as the technical focus, the course contains content that gives the students the opportunity to explore the social, ethical and professional aspects computing and its relationship to work and society.

Assessment/examinations Continuous assessment through a series of assignments, formal examinations and practical work. Assessment is subject to checks by an independent external examiner to ensure that national standards are met.
