This exciting Top Up degree at University Centre Doncaster offers students the opportunity to develop and refine the skills needed to become a successful Community Arts Practitioner. Throughout the year long course, you will have opportunities to gain professional experience through work placements. You will develop knowledge of Community Arts practices through core modules undertaken but within this, you will focus on developing and applying your subject specialist skills (dance, drama, music) to make sure that on completion of the course, you have a wide range of skills, knowledge and work-based skills to ensure a successful and rewarding career. The course will prepare you for working in a number of capacities but with also equip you with the skills needed to work as a freelance artist or to form your own company.
