Academic Qualifications A 2:2 Honours degree or equivalent-with no specific subject requirements Level of English language capability IELTS 6.5 or equivalent for non-native speakers of English (6.5 or above with a minimum of 6 in reading and writing) Previous relevant work or work-related experience The programme targets people in working in an educational setting and pursuing personal and professional development, through work-based learning. Therefore, their role must enable them to use the workplace as a site of learning. Professional qualifications None - though the programme is appropriate for professionals from a range of fields whose qualifications are equivalent to degree level study Entry Profile Applicants will be working in a wide range of private, public and voluntary sector organisations; they may be in technical, management or professional role; have demonstrated success through career progression with sufficient experience in line with the level of study. Typically the students will be returnees to formal education although may have no experience of working at level 7.The main attributes are to be motivated to develop personally and professionally, be willing and have the time to complete the extensive studies associated with such a course. The formal academic admissions criteria are an honours degree at 2:2 level or above or equivalent, applicants who do not meet these criteria will need to demonstrate that they will benefit from and have the capability to complete the course successfully through completion of the application form and interview with the course leader.
