Why Business and Marketing Management (with placement)? Our Business and Marketing Management degree prepares you to become confident and skilled in motivating people in the workplace and influencing customers to purchase products and services. As well as gaining essential knowledge in all aspects of business and marketing, you’ll be able to specialise in subjects such as business enterprise and e-interactivity and social media, allowing you to pursue your own individual interests and career ambitions. With the chance for an international trip to a location such as New York or Milan (additional costs may apply, see course web page for details), as well as work placements with renowned companies such as Warner Bros and BMW, our ‘Make It’ programme of business experiences really helps our graduates stand out from the competition. You’ll draw on the expertise of lecturers with extensive professional credentials and research experience. The course also benefits from accreditation with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), allowing you to graduate with exemptions from the CIM Diploma. You’ll also take advantage of the cutting-edge facilities at our brand new state-of-the-art School of Business and Technology building at Oxstalls campus, Gloucester, including a live Thomson Reuters trading room and equipment you’d find in company headquarters around the globe. Oxstalls is also home to The Growth Hub, where you may have the opportunity to gain experience as a shadow consultant, working with real businesses looking to grow and develop. Qualification requirements

Grade C in GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent) are normally required. If you don't meet your tariff points total we will still consider your application. Mature Applicants: We welcome applications from mature students (aged 21 and over) and do not necessarily require the same academic qualifications as school leaving applicants.


English language requirements

International students will need to produce evidence of an acceptable score on an approved English language test such as IELTS. We run pre-sessional English language courses to help you prepare for undergraduate or postgraduate study.
