Course summary

Current interest in small animal accident and emergency medicine and surgery is greater now than ever before. This exciting modular programme is dedicated to providing high quality, relevant, clinically useful information for the small animal practitioner. Information that is practically relevant is presented using an approach based around the major organ systems. The course is delivered by Improve International and assessed by the European School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies (ESVPS).


Entry requirements

This course is for veterinary surgeons with a keen interest in further developing their knowledge and skills in small animal emergency medicine and surgery. Applicants whose 1st language is not English should have an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with no lower than 5.5 in any component.
