Enter an exciting multi-billion pound industry and establish yourself as an events manager. Combining creativity with technical knowledge, our foundation degree teaches you how to successfully plan an event from start to finish. With our support, you’ll become a meticulous organiser able to plan and deliver spectacular live experiences. Our Events Management Foundation Degree covers multiple aspects of events. You will acquire all the necessary planning experience, funding management, marketing and promotions understanding and logistical knowledge needed for a successful career in the thriving events industry. Our carefully crafted course programme develops the core skills expected from any events expert while offering a combination of specialist modules that explore different aspects of managing live experiences from legislation to managing a team. Our programme includes practical experience and projects allowing you to develop a specialist area of interest which will shape your career path. In addition to your personal development, the knowledge and skills gained from this course will equip you with everything you need to excel in the fast-paced events industry. You’ll be able to progress on to a top-up degree or move into full-time employment.

English language requirements

English Language Grade C or above (grade 4 for those sitting their GCSE from 2017 onwards). Key Skills Level 2, Functional Skills Level 2 and the Certificate in Adult Literacy are accepted in place of GCSEs. IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any component.
