Course summary

Are you are looking for a career in management? Do you want to understand the senior management team? Do you want to start you own business but need more knowledge about business or career development? Do you watch The Apprentice (BBC TV) and think you could do better than the candidates? This is the course for you. You will learn the skills required to be an effective manager and gain knowledge about business finance and economics. Practical skills will be developed, such as presentations, team working, report writing. Our student population is also very diverse, covering a range of nationalities, ages, cultures, levels of experience, and prior knowledge. You will therefore have the chance to work with staff and students of many different backgrounds. This 2-year course will enlighten you and may help you decide on a career direction. This general business management qualification is designed to give you an all-round knowledge and understanding of contemporary management.
