Course summary

Our Management and Entrepreneurship MSc will teach you how to start your own business, grow a family business or innovate inside an existing organisation. Studying this entrepreneurship MSc will not only provide you with the management skills and entrepreneurial qualities, but it will also offer you networking opportunities to enable you to start and run businesses effectively and imaginatively. Modules

Compulsory modules: Managing operations; organisational behaviour: application; marketing management; strategic management; accounting and finance; entrepreneurial finance; managing business growth; entrepreneurship; disruptive innovation. Elective modules: People management and leadership; social entrepreneurship; corporate entrepreneurship; family business management; accelerating the commercialisation of technology.

Assessment method

Taught modules (60%) are assessed by a combination of written assignments, exams and group work/presentation. The thesis project (40%) is written individually and submitted at the end of the course.

Entry requirements

A first or second class UK Honours degree (or equivalent) ideally in a related subject. Other recognised professional qualifications or several years relevant industrial experience may be accepted as equivalent; subject to approval by the Course Director.
