Course summary
The MBA programme:
- Helps students to build their strategic leadership capabilities and the ability to make and communicate connections across complex ideas.

Modules
The 12-month full-time programme consists of ten compulsory modules and two elective modules, followed by a work based project or a dissertation carried out over the summer period following semester 2. A dissertation enables you to undertake an in-depth study of a sector, an industry, a subject area, or a company. 180 credits are taken in total.

English language qualifications All applicants must have reached a minimum required standard of English language, and are required to provide evidence of this. If you meet our other academic requirements but do not achieve the required level of English, it is possible to come and study at Liverpool on the University’s summer academic English programmes. Entry requirements
The ULMS continues to welcome applications that fulfil our admissions criteria in order to select a balanced international student cohort. As students from different countries tend to apply at different points in the application period, applications from some countries may close earlier in the year. In these cases we will aim to provide a 3-week notice period to the affected country, prior to any programme closure. Professional Experience: MBA Candidates are normally expected to have a minimum of 3 years of substantive managerial experience in the private or public sector. They will have managed budgets/people/projects. Qualifications: Candidates will normally be expected to hold a 2:1 Honours degree (which may be in any discipline) from a UK university, or an equivalent professional qualification from a similar non-UK institution. Non-graduates who possess extensive professional experience (more than 5 years) and/or a postgraduate qualification are encouraged to apply are encouraged to apply.
