Course summary
Gain a solid grounding in the scientific principles behind environmental management issues, and develop skills for a career in environmental management and consultancy. You’ll study topics such as waste management, ecosystem services and environmental economics. You'll also have the opportunity to select optional modules – for example, in contaminated and urban environments, the changing environment, and agriculture and rural environments. Entry requirements
Normally an undergraduate honours degree (2:2 or above), or equivalent from a university outside the UK. Applicants with no first degree but who have equivalent experience may also be considered. Your undergraduate degree should be in geography, environmental science, environmental studies, ecology, agriculture or a related field; applicants from social science backgrounds such as economics or law may also be considered. IELTS: 6.5 overall with no element less than 5.5 (or equivalent).
