The Higher National Certificate course will allow students from all backgrounds to gain practical knowledge through a range of creative workshops in response to industry focused briefs. The course is suitable for students progressing from Level 3, Foundation Diploma or A-levels who want a faster and more direct route into the industry, as well as the more mature student who is looking to retrain within the creative arts. During the course you will study units including: Professional Development, Contextual Studies, Communication in Art Practice, Surface Design, Material and Media Practices. The units will reflect real life industry practice within the Creative Arts, thus allowing you to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible to prepare you for employment. After successful completion of this study programme, you can progress onto the Level 5 Higher National Diploma Course at Cambridge Regional College, attend one of our great feeder Universities joining the second year if the program, or enter employment in the related industry in which you have specialised in. For Home and EU students, a loan from the Student Loans Company is available to support learners with fees if applied for.
