Our Construction Management and Economics MSc prepares you for leadership roles in the construction and property industries - developing your analytical, technical and managerial skills. This Master's in Construction Management and Economics was developed in response to a growing demand for capable and creative professionals from the construction and property industries. We therefore prioritise strategic thinking and the skills needed to respond to volatile economic conditions. On this course, you will learn the theory and application of economics, finance and management in the context of large-scale construction projects. Our modules include construction economics & finance , construction project management, development economics and planning, construction procurement & contract law practices and Building Information Modelling (BIM) among others. Graduates will be able to pursue roles in project and construction management consultancy, quantity surveying, or careers within construction companies, environmental agencies, local authorities and regeneration agencies. Assessment method
There are variety of assessments, including coursework, a portfolio, presentations and exams. Each course has formal assessments which count towards your grade. Portfolio submission presentations, essays and reports all form part of your degree. Some courses may also include practice assessments, which help you monitor progress and do not count towards your final grade.

Entry requirements
An undergraduate (honours) degree at 2:2, or above, in a Built Environment subject such as, Civil Engineering, Construction, Surveying or Architecture. Applicants without a degree that have relevant professional experience and membership of an appropriate professional body may be considered. Applicants from other backgrounds may be considered.
