CELTIC STUDIES: - Celtic Studies provides the opportunity to choose from a range of courses on the medieval and modern Celtic languages of the British Isles (Scottish Gaelic, Irish and Welsh) and their associated cultures. You will have the opportunity to study the medieval and modern cultures of the Celtic-speaking peoples, with scholars at the cutting edge of research: and learn a Celtic language of the British Isles. PSYCHOLOGY: - Psychology is the scientific study of people: how they think, act, react and interact. It is concerned with all aspects of behaviour and the thoughts, feelings and motivations underlying such behaviour. Psychology at Glasgow is ranked 2nd in Scotland and 8th in the UK (Complete University Guide 2019).

- Year 1
|A level||AAB||Must include at least one Arts/Humanities subject. Must also have at least GCSE Mathematics at grade B or above. Applicants will receive an offer conditional on attaining AAB. Applicants who achieve AAB are guaranteed entry. Applicants who achieve grades less than AAB but higher than BBB will be considered for entry.|
|Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)||DDD||Acceptable in appropriate subject area. Must also have at least GCSE Mathematics at grade B or above.|
|Access to HE Diploma||M: 30 credits||Acceptable in appropriate subject area. Must also have at least GCSE Mathematics at grade B or above.|
|Scottish Higher||AABB - AAAAAA||Must include English and at least one further Arts/Humanities subject. Must also have at least National 5 Mathematics at grade B or above.|
|International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme||38 points||3 HL subjects at 6,6,6 including English AND a Humanities/Language subject. Whilst HL6 is preferred for English and Humanities/Language subjects, SL6 will be considered for ONE of the subjects. SL Maths or Maths Studies must be passed at 4 or better.|
SQA applicants entering from S5 are required to achieve AAAAB by the end of S5. Applicants who achieve less than AAAAB by the end of S5 but achieved at least AABB MAY receive a conditional offer, but a decision will not be made on these applications until March once all applications have been reviewed. Conditional offers to these applicants will require them to achieve AAAAAA cumulatively by the end of S6.
