The BTEC Higher National Certificate in Business is a vocational Higher Education course, it is designed to prepare you for a career in business through a combination of theoretical and practical teaching. You will achieve the HNC after one year and use this to progress onto the HND in the second year. In the first year you will study units in Business & the Business Environment, Business Law, Financial Accounting, Marketing Essentials, Managing a Business Project, Human Resource Management, Management Accounting, Management and Operations Year two includes units in Business Strategy, Brand Management, Planning for Growth, Consumer Behaviour/Insight, Employee Relations, Organisational Behaviour and a Research Project.
