Course summary

Develop key marketing skills and learn to generate innovative solutions to complex challenges within an international setting. As part of this course, you’ll: • Gain a detailed insight of marketing in an international context and understand how to use your knowledge to help steer business success in a global economy • Explore risk, nuances and complexities of operating in a global environment • Examine the role that culture plays in decision making across a range of international settings • Learn how to manage international brands and how to plan and implement effective PR campaigns in a global context • Develop the tools and knowledge to make a valuable contribution to any organisation that operates in, or plans to develop, non-domestic markets • Choose a topic with an international or global emphasis for your Postgraduate Marketing Research Project You’ll have face-to-face meetings with a research methods tutor to help establish your chosen specialist topic for the Postgraduate Marketing Research Project. Teaching expertise You’ll be guided and supported throughout your course by our expert academics, who will support you to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to make an immediate impact on your career. Bringing your learning to life This course has a strong focus on employability, and you’ll be encouraged to apply your learning. You’ll critically analyse the efficacy of marketing using genuine case studies and you’ll be given opportunities to relate your study to organisational practices. Marketing Society You’ll be able to come together with like-minded students in an informal atmosphere through our university's Marketing Society. The group organises lectures, trips and discussions that can further inspire and inform your learning.


Entry requirements

Applicants should either have at least a second class honours degree. All applications should be supported by a reference, either academic or professional.
