This University course is approved by the Institute for Apprenticeship and Technical Education. You will get a broad introduction to Computing through core learning units as well as specialist pathways such as Data Analytics, Network Engineering and Cyber Security, so that you can gain the key skills and experience needed across a range of occupational sectors. Skills You will develop your computing skills and knowledge through research, independent study, directed study and workplace scenarios. You will gain transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, research and analysis. During the course you will also develop specialised knowledge of programming, database design, software development and the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence.
