The course Providing a firm grounding in the entire scale of biological systems, this flexible course covers topics from molecules to ecosystems. You’ll be able to tailor modules to your career ambitions and interests by specialising in areas including genetics, microbiology, ecology, virology, physiology and infection. It forms the ideal platform for a career in many areas related to biology, such as research or science publishing. Additional fee information

In line with government policy decisions, Home and EU undergraduate tuition fees for the 2020/21 academic year are £9,250. For students who qualify for government-regulated fees (currently students classed as ‘Home’ or ‘Home/EU’ for fees purposes), the University expects to increase fees in line with any inflationary uplift as determined by the UK Government, if permitted by law or government policy, in the second and subsequent years of your course.
