The distance learning option is delivered through synchronous and asynchronous sessions, allowing you to study alongside your career or if you do not with to travel to the UK to study. If you are a member of the Armed Forces, you may be able eligible to received funding for this programme under the UK Ministry of Defence Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) scheme – our ELCAS number is 1682. Assessment method
This programme has been designed to be delivered as a distance-learning course. You will be taught through a series of interactive lectures, seminars and tutorials. This programme is taught completely via our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and you will not have to attend any workshops at the University. This will allow you to continue to work within your field whilst also completing your degree from anywhere in the world, and study at times to suit you. Classes are a full day and involve a mix of lectures and seminars. Seminars can take the form of individual research for sharing, pairs or group work. This encourages both networking but also embeds the discipline of research, leading and managing in groups, self-reflection and building of skills. Lectures are given by academics and guest lecturers who have practical and ‘in-the-field' experience’ who can share this with you. This programme has authentic assessments at its core. All assessments are varied and range from reports, assignments, ePortfolios and builds to allow flexibility towards how you present the assessment as well as deciding on what topics to include. This is supported by the Module Leader who works to ensure you work within the parameters of the required assessment.

Entry requirements
The University’s general entry requirements will apply to admission to this programme with the following additions / exceptions: UG ( 2:1 or above) or five years relevant work experience, English level IELTS 6.5 or University requirement at the time. If you do not meet the entry requirements you may, if you have relevant professional experience, still be invited for interview, where you will be required to demonstrate the necessary knowledge and understanding for entry onto the course. Previous study, professional and / or vocational experiences may be recognised as the equivalent learning experience and permit exemption from studying certain modules in accordance with our accreditation of prior learning (APL) process. If your first language is not English, we will require evidence of English language proficiency to IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
