Course summary

Examine the fundamentals of language, and study issues in teaching methodology, on this MA Applied Linguistics for Language Teaching master's degree. Modules

Compulsory modules include: Dissertation; Second Language Training; Introduction to Research in Applied Linguistics. Optional modules include: Assessment of Language Proficiency; Autonomy and Individualisation in Language Learning; English as a World Language; Language and Intercultural Communication; English as medium of instruction in global education. Assessment method

We'll assess your knowledge through: individual and group projects and presentations, through workshop activities, written assignments, and the dissertation.


How to apply

International applicants

English language: Band D, IELTS 6.5 overall score with at least 6.5 in Reading and Writing and at least 6.0 in Speaking and Listening.

Entry requirements

Upper 2nd Class Honours degree in English, linguistics, modern languages or other relevant discipline.
