The programme provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience within a scientific setting and animal unit whilst consolidating knowledge through the delivery of interactive theory sessions.

The programme has a practical focus for many of the modules with students having access to purpose built laboratories and the animal management unit. Theory learning is supported by practical sessions and vocational, educational trips.
