The course provides you with a fully engaging studio design-based education and will allow you to explore your creative design abilities exploiting traditional and modern technologies and materials through all the design stages. Students will learn how architecture can shape communities and cultures, developing a deep understanding of sustainable solutions for the Climate Crisis. Our proven track record of research and industry engagement in the field of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and advanced visualisation/modelling technologies is embedded into the course. As you develop your knowledge of the design process, the use of digital technologies will position you at the cutting edge of today's global construction industry, enabling you to model and manage the full spectrum of design information. During the course, different trips will be arranged by the school and at Level 6; an International one will allow the students to learn from other countries

The university recognises that many students have additional barriers in progression to university, whether this be through disability, as a care leaver, from an area of deprivation or another factor. The university wishes to provide additional support for these students through the contextual offer scheme. If you are eligible, the University will apply a contextual Admissions decision, in the form of a reduced offer letter by up to two grades or 16 UCAS tariff points.
The student satisfaction data is from students surveyed during the Covid-19 pandemic. The number of student respondents and response rates can be important in interpreting the data – it is important to note your experience may be different from theirs. This data will be based on the subject area rather than the specific course. Read more about this data on the Discover Uni website.
