The School of Geography offers the opportunity to work at doctoral level alongside academics whose research has been internationally recognised. You will have the chance to work within a supportive academic community, sharing ideas and experiences with the aim of advancing knowledge.

Assessment method
You will be required to demonstrate adequate and appropriate progress on an annual basis. Final assessment is by viva voce examination of a research thesis. You are also expected to demonstrate how your research findings have contributed to knowledge or developed existing theory or understanding.
